About BSA Troop 968
Troop 968 is chartered by Pathway Community Church located in Dublin, California. We are part of the Twin Valley District of the San Francisco Bay Area Council. Troop 968 is established in 2012 with the hopes of providing opportunities for the boys scouts to achieve personal growth, learn leadership skills, learn an appreciation for outdoor activities and to participate in community services, such as city beautification projects and other community service projects through the church in line with the quality, values-based program of the Boys Scouts of America. BSA Troop 968 is open to all boys who have graduated from the 5th grade or are ages 11-17.
Vision
Troop 968 seeks to provide a Scout program based on the values of Scouting that will encourage a boy to develop his leadership and personal relationship skills, spiritual growth, and allow him to advance at his own pace to reach his full potential while participating in the adventures that Scouting offers.
Goal
- Offer responsible fun and adventure
- Instill lifetime values and develop ethical character as expressed in the Scout
- Train in Citizenship, Service, and Leadership
- Serve Pathway’s communities and families with the quality, values-based program of the Boys Scouts of America
